We recommend getting in touch with us 2-4 weeks before your move, depending on your move complexity and size.
The best day of a week to move is Sunday – with less Toronto traffic & better parking situations. However your building may not allow moves on weekends, Tuesday and Wednesday would be the second best option since less people tend to move on these dates.
Weather in Canada can switch in a matter of seconds, while our movers are ready to move in any weather conditions, ice and snow may slow them down, so ensure that your driveway and pathways are shoveled and salted on the day of your move for the safety of everyone.
We recommend moving in the morning if you and your building’s schedule allow that – our earliest regular time slot starts 7-9AM. The sooner we start, the sooner you’ll be all set enjoying your new home!
We charge hourly for our services. Our hourly rates are all inclusive. We do not charge extra for the number of stairs, or by weight and kilometers. However please note additional charges may be added for speciality items such as pianos and large safes. Rest assured all additional fees will be disclosed upfront during the booking process of the move and will be included on your contract.
Yes we do!! In some cases we may be able to provide a flat rate upon the client's request.
We accept Cash, debit and credit cards. We do not accept cheques or prepaid debit cards.
A $100 deposit is required upon the booking of your move, which goes towards the total cost of the move. The remaining balance is due at the end of the move
We find our estimates to be almost exact and do not lead to any, even the smallest, price changes on a move day in over 91% moves. Make sure the inventory list you provide us is as accurate as possible to prevent issues on the day of the move. Don’t just take our word for it, but check out our reviews on our social platforms!
The X Men is conveniently located in Mississauga, but we are happy to assist with moves outside of our local area. However, based on the location, you may incur some travel fees. This will always be clearly stated on your estimate.
